Contrade – old – Fifthestate

After writing “The New Wines of Mount Etna”, author Benjamin Spencer, American by birth and Etna by adoption, faces a new challenge that sees him in the role of producer together with 5°E Owner & Producer, Jennifer Kahane of Los Angeles. Their first vineyard (Fifth Estate) is located in Randazzo and the austere profile of the wines is reliably consistent with wines being made on the north slope of the volcano.
